The Federal & State Grants Unit (FSGU) administers grant programs overseen by ICJIA. Authorized to receive and disburse grant money, ICJIA also is responsible for assuring compliance with federal and state regulations. ICJIA began administering federal grants in 1985, following the passage of the Justice Assistance Act and the Victims of Crime Act by Congress.

The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for the Law Enforcement/Prosecution-Based Assistance program. Grants will be made with Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) FFY24 funds. A total of $1,587,306 in funding in VOCA is available through this solicitation for use over a period of 12 months.

ICJIA is requesting proposals for the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Response Programs. A total of $3.5 million in available federal VAWA funding will be used to support this funding opportunity. The MDT program is designed for Illinois county’s criminal justice and victim service agencies interested in maintaining or expanding multidisciplinary programs.
